STEM Resources and Density Activiy

Posted by Angelique Diedrick on

As an advocate for educators and STEM leaders, we are providing you with resources for going back to school. Click here to download a FREE Periodic Table.

We also encourage young scientists to explore with different activities such as layering liquids or density science.

Density is defined as mass per unit of volume, which is a critical scientific concept to understand and can be visually demonstrated using glass beakers and conical flasks.

Try this simple but fun activity of mixing oil and water, it's an example of two liquids that have different densities, so they remain separate when poured into a cup!
